Joseph Altuzarra’s third collection is sleek and sophisticated. Leather and fur reigned throughout the show, continuing with a texture theme we have seen thus far throughout the week. Joseph was also kind enough to get a jump start on my halloween costume for next year, sending a leather cat-suit down the runway. Altuzarra provided us with beautiful lines on the body this year – with dresses and coats that are so clean and sophisticated that any woman will look like a millionairess stepping out on the town in these garments. My winter coat next year will be an Altuzarra, no question about it. The only fault I found with the entire collection was with the velvet gowns presented at the end of the show. I just felt the red velvet was chintzy, but that might be my own issues with velvet at play.
