New York Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2010 Day 4: DKNY

We couldn’t help but feel we were stuck in a world created by Piet Mondrian as we watched the DKNY show. The geometric prints on display were like tribute’s to the fabulous modern artist, only the bright colours were replaced with lovely earth tones.  The separates worn were rich in texture and warm in colour.  Kilts seem to be a must have for the season and even the signature DKNY cozy made an appearance in a new geometric colourblocked print. Donna Karan has made a few things clear in the new season for 2010 and added a few more must haves to our shopping list including platform hills, newsboy caps and large long scarves.
