Vivienne Westwood Autumn/Winter 2010: Art Walking

This was one of Vivienne Westwood‘s best collections. Her ability to pile clothes in a disheveled manner and still have it look fantastic is an art form that must have missed class for on that day. However, this is why she is one of the world’s leading fashion designers and we are bloggers. There were a great many wearable pieces in this season’s collection including a Prince Charming t-shirt that we have to get our hands on! There were also a few red carpet gowns in the collection that could be worn directly as styled on the catwalk, which you don’t often see from Westwood. Many times when watching her runway shows you have to be able to see through the intense layering to appreciate each piece of clothing individually but Viv didn’t do her usual OTT artistic styling. This collection was practically minimal in comparison to year’s past. All in all, a wonderful display of modern day art at its best.
