How does anyone know who is real or fake on twitter these days? Well, there is the whole verified account thing but that takes ages. Rachel Zoe has been on Twitter for lightyears and was only just confirmed as an authentic account yesterday! So things are working a little differently now and PRs are taking matters into their own hands by announcing their twitter handles before they tweet a word!
First up on the block for this new approach – Victoria Beckham. WWD announced this morning that Posh Spice will be tweeting using @vbfashionweek from now through New York Fashion Week. No word yet on whether or not she will continue afterwards but should be entertaining in the meantime, no?
