Bottega Veneta Autumn Winter 2011, Milan Fashion Week

Tomas Maier has never left an audience disappointed and that track record didn’t change today.  The Bottega Veneta show in Milan featured a sensational selection of dresses.  Although the show seemed a bit experimental in nature, the experiments were a great success. The first half of the runway was brightly coloured, featuring bright oranges and deep pinks.  Then the presentation took a more somber tone with lovely black and nude cocktail dresses, featuring hints of muted colours. However, the most striking look, in my humble opinion, was the last evening gown. This belongs on a red carpet ASAP.
