So here I am minding my own business shopping in Westfield when I walk into Zara and spot, from across the room, shoes that look strikingly similar to the ones I’ve been coveting since I first spied them last Friday. If you follow me on instagram you’ll remember the Valentinos I spotted on a PR from Net-a-Porter. I instantly fell in love and even though the price tag read £600, I knew these shoes had already found a safe and stylish home with me. As I wait for a pair of size 42 Valentinos, I find myself daydreaming about the shoes and planning entire wardrobe changes to make them work here and there. So when I saw the shoes pictured above in Zara, I thought I was just having a daydream… that was a little too real. While they are not the same style (Zara’s version is much more blinged out), they have the same aesthetic in mind, wouldn’t you agree? { Valentino / Zara}
