It’s that time of year again… Christmas Shopping time! It can be the most stressful time of the year when it comes to thinking up new and original ideas for gift giving. Not to worry as that’s where FFG comes in. This year we’ll be featuring over 30 gift guides to help you with a selection of goodies for everyone from your dad to your favourite travel buddy. Leave it in our capable hands. Just make sure you check in every morning to see what’s new.
First up on the gift guide is a look at what to buy for that awkward secret Santa. We all know the Christmas Party where you have to pick a name out of a hat and then buy that perfect gift as a secret Santa. Keeping that in mind, here are some moderately priced pieces that will go down a treat at the office party!
- If all else fails on the remaining list, an iconic Absolut bottle celebrating London is always a good idea {Absolut London Vodka £21.50}
- Who wouldn’t like a fifty pound note from their secret Santa? This
one’s even better than the real thing as it will last forever. We all
know if given the real thing, it would be spent behind the party bar in
under ten minutes. Give a gift that will last a bit longer. {Fifty Pound Note Tea Towel £8.50} - This Beer and Curry set is more for the man in mind
although I know quite a few women that wouldn’t mind finding this under
their trees for Christmas. {John Lewis Beer & Curry Set £15} - Is there anyone out there that doesn’t love Downton Abbey? At under a tenner this is THE perfect
gift and guaranteed to be loved whether they’ve
watched it already or not. It’s just as good the second time around! {Downton Abbey Season 1 on DVD £9.39} - A box of socks. Yes, yes, I know this is typically what your gran gives
you for Christmas. However, these aren’t your ordinary socks. First of
all, there’s one for every day of the week. Secondly, I
just happen to know they are the most comfortable and stylish socks out
there. So this year, take a chance on socks. {Seasalt Box of Socks £29.95} - Fish & Chips is a British classic, however it’s a bit hard to box
up and present as a gift. That is, of course unless said fish and chips
is actually made out of chocolate. I’m head over heels in love with this gift idea.
{Chocolate Fish & Chips £18} - For Macaroon lovers and pretty much all females out there, here’s a
present that can only be loved. Cheesy little Macaroon candles. Yes,
they’re cheesy, but also totally adorable. Gotta love that combo. {Laura Ashley Macaroon Candles £12} - “You either love it or you hate it”, whichever side of the fence you sit on Marmite Gold is the
perfect idea for a lover of the spread. This Limited Edition bottle will
make a Marmite lover’s day. {Limited Edition Marmite £5.99} - I’ve yet to meet a person that doesn’t love Scrabble. Come to think
of it, I don’t want to meet anyone that doesn’t. Travel Scrabble is an
excellent present and should the office party turn sour, it makes for a
nice distraction and can be played in the most interesting of ways.
Strip Scrabble anyone? {Travel Scrabble £18.99}
