When we first stepped out of the car at the Four Seasons Los Angeles, it really did feel as if we were arriving for a red carpet event. The above-and-beyond gentleman at the entrance, the elaborate decor, beautiful people and buzzing atmosphere may have been a shock to our system, but this is just another day for the folks at the Four Seasons Los Angeles. While we didn’t stay in the hotel, we did have the great pleasure of dining with the fantastic marketing team in the private dining room at Culina.
Culina is home to LA’s only crudo bar, it’s been called the best new restaurant in the area and has seen more famous faces since its doors have opened than any other space on earth. This might have something to do with the fact that the Four Seasons hosts most of the press junkets in Los Angeles. What can one say? Celebs just love this amazing venue, and we can’t say we blame them. The service standards don’t stop at the door. Our entire time in Culina’s private dining room was an experience to remember. Never did a glass reach half empty. The food arrived promptly, piping hot and so delicious we all wished we could do it all over again. Then came dessert. Frankly speaking, any restaurant that serves cotton candy to finish the meal gets five stars in my opinion.
Put this on your “must visit” list for Los Angeles. If you love great food, enjoy a celeb spot or two and greatly appreciate unbeatable customer service, this is a restaurant you will enjoy. It’s also a restaurant with amazing atmosphere that would work for business, romance or even a family outing. A real joy. Thank you, Culina, for hosting an unforgettable evening.
Note: Apologies for the rubbish pictures. The SLR couldn’t squeeze into the Louboutin clutch. First world problems, really.
