Celebrities Love: Burberry embroidered poncho for AW14

Since February I’ve been having flashbacks periodically to the finale of the Burberry Autumn Winter show. The show itself was a moment to remember, but the closing runway strut had me dreaming of drinking warm tea while wrapped in a monogrammed Burberry poncho. Yes, I am one of those women who dream in designer. Sad, but it’s an occupational hazard really.

Seems I’m not the only one obsessed with Burberry’s poncho for autumn winter 2014. The models who walked the runway that day all stepped away with their own Burberry poncho slung over their shoulders, and celebs the world over have followed in their footsteps. From Cara Delevingne to Olivia Palermo, the Burberry poncho has quickly become a celebrity favourite. The latest to step out in the style was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who took to the streets of Sydney, Australia yesterday in the Burberry creation.

For the general public, the Burberry poncho monogramming will begin next month, when the brand launches the programme in stores and online. The colour block check poncho will be available to monogram with 3 characters (FFG works perfectly) and is 100% made in the UK with lambswool and cashmere by Johnstons of Elgin in Scotland and monogramming taking place in Blyth.
