Diane von Furstenberg designs new hospital gowns for the Cleveland Clinic

Well it won’t be encouraging a stay in the hospital for me anytime soon. But, even I have to admit it’s an improvement on past hospital gowns. It’s tough to design gowns that will fit everyone and still be fashionable. Perhaps the important piece of news here is the fact that DVF donated her talent to a worthwhile cause.

Diane von Fursternberg met the CEO of the Cleveland Clinic at a networking conference in 2007 where the idea was conceived.  The fruits of their labour were only just recently revealed at the 2010 Patient Experience Summit in Cleveland.

What do you think of the gowns? Perhaps DVF should do a line for all care centres in need of such a nifty fashion statement.
