So I know it was the British Fashion Awards and as named as such I should have worn a British designer. Slap on my wrist, right? Yes, I turned up wearing head to toe Ralph Lauren! Would you really have expected anything else from the Ralph’s biggest fan? From the gorgeous shearling vest to the ornate envelope clutch, this was my “American who lives in London but still loves her American heritage” look! Hey, someone had to show a little stars and stripes pride in a room full of Brits! And what a surprise that I would choose to wear black to a fashion event!
