Why have one supermodel cover when you can have two? That seems to be the thinking of W Magazine for July 2012 as they feature not one but two drop dead gorgeous “fashion megas”, Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss.
It’s difficult to remember that Karlie Kloss stands head and shoulders above the general public (as she is six feet one inches) when we look at this angelic portrait. She is truly in a world of her own, and W Magazine definitely agree on that point calling out her height as “meteorological” and her face as fairy-like. And can you believe she is only 19-years-old? That’s the part that always floors us. She has done so much! Seriously though, think about the last time you flipped through a magazine without seeing Karlie’s face?
23-year-old Joan Smalls, however, is probably best known for her killer cheekbones, that could solely be responsible for the definition of “fierce”, and absolutely magnificent presence on the catwalk. She is a woman with skin that could easily be described as “perfect” and a way with the camera that is almost haunting.
W Magazine, we commend you on your choice of cover girls this month. They are both defining figures in fashion for 2012. May we suggest more glossies choose more covers per month? After all, two is so much better than one! {W Magazine}
