The star singer, the beat, the sort of strange sadness in the melody…it’s all there and perfect for a runway show. Lana Del Rey’s new video Summer of Sadness was released on Youtube this weekend and has thus far been met with rav reviews. The video, co-starring Jaime King, explains why last month we were looking at the two sharing pictures from the front seat of a vintage car together. Interestingly enough, it was Jaime King’s husband that was directing the two in the video as they play a pair of troubled lovers who, in the end, both commit suicide. Rather jolly tale for a Monday morning, sorry about that!
