Separate love for Christopher Kane Spring Summer 2013

Christopher Kane has quickly become one of the hottest tickets in town for London Fashion Week. Each season we sit and wait to see what the master has to present and most of the time we all leave the premises with a great excitement for the future. Kane’s Spring Summer 2013 show was no exception. For me, the real genius of this collection lay in the separates. From the rubber skirts to the Frankenstein t-shirts, this was a collection that will fly off the shelves when it hits next season. However, I’m predicting the skirts will be the highlights and favoured by consumers across the board. Come May I think you’ll find more than one editor showcasing their Christopher Kane rubber for the whole world to see. The textures were truly amazing and it was hard not to reach out and touch each and every look as they passed me by on the runway. Christopher Kane certainly took a lot of risks with this collection, but the risks have most definitely paid off. In a world where most designers are looking to sell rather than impress, Christopher Kane has managed to do both while staying true to his creative talents….not an easy thing to do!
