Earlier this week I was invited to celebrate the reopening of Harrods’ Childrenswear floor. The beautiful Pippa Vosper and Julia Restoin Roitfeld had invited a small group of women to join them for afternoon tea (which also included one of the strongest rose martinis I’ve ever experienced) and cakes courtesy of Laduree. I have to say I’ve never seen a more powerful collection of yummy mummies and truly felt as if I was missing the hottest accessory at the party, a baby! Yikes. Guests included Arizona Muse, Jasmine Guinness, Kalie Walsh, Kim Hersov, Sarah Parker Bowles, Portia Freeman and Zoe de Givenchy.
The new childrenswear floor at Harrods is in fact a sight to be seen. Over 66,000 square feet has been devoted to our little guys, making it one of the largest spots for “mini fashion” in the world. From essentials to near on haute couture clothing for your kids, you will find absolutely everything one can imagine on this floor. It was hard to walk away not dreaming of one day shopping here for all things mini… Ralph Lauren, Dior, Gucci and on and on…
