It’s not quite summer yet, but I have already been investing heavily in gorgeous sandals for the season ahead. Flat flip flops are a must own and the more stylish, the better. My Valentino Rockstud PVC thong sandals are safely tucked away in my closet waiting for warmer weather in London and they may be waiting a while, if I’m being honest. But they were a must purchase as they are the perfect finishing touch to any pair of jeans, shorts or the perfect LBD this summer. However, imagine my surprise upon discovering that nearly the exact same pair of sandals is in store at Steve Madden for $39.95. Talk about a near identical look for less. I’m sticking with the Valentinos for special occasions and toying with the idea of purchasing the Steve Maddens for an everyday chic look without the fear of ruining a rather expensive purchase. Call me crazy, but this is my retail madness at work.
