From Emporio Armani we moved down New Bond Street to Giorgio Armani where the preview was taking place upstairs in store. The jewelery really stole the show for me at Armani this year. Even the dresses seemed to have elaborate embellishments which screamed “bling.” Giorgio is the king of dressing the rich and famous and he has certainly given them plenty to work with this season. Huge bags, massive necklaces and uber-bling are all on the cards for trends. Then you have the turban. I’ll say right now I’m not a fan. The only thing they look good on are the faceless mannequins. Salma Hayek and one of the Kardashian sisters have decided to copy the Armani trend and thus far they’ve shown you can’t really pull it off without looking like a bit of a styleless poser.
