Hunter have collaborated with rag & bone
to launch a collection of wellies for autumn winter 2013. What might seem like
a rather random collaboration of talents is actually a brilliant pairing
between a classic brand and a modern day trendsetting label. It also appears to
be a rather natural fit as Marcus Wainwright, Co-Managing Partner rag
& bone, stated,”as
English guys, we grew up being familiar with Hunter boots – I got my first pair
of their wellies when I was around eight!”
Who didn’t, Mr.
Wainwright? With this weather, wellies are an absolute essential in England. Hunter
was already the fashion world’s wellies of choice. Let’s just say this only
makes the relationship stronger.
And of course it’s
not just the UK that sees fashionistas swearing by Hunter wellies. “Hunter may be a quintessential British
brand but we also always see so many women on the streets of Manhattan wearing
their boots. Not only is this testament to the brand’s global appeal, it
resonated with us as we are British guys living in New York. We are really excited
