I have a theory that every woman has their favourite style of dress. Whether it’s a wrap dress, empire waist dress, drop waist dress or a simple sheath, I think we all know what suits us and we embrace each new print in said style with open arms every season. For me, it’s always been the shirt dress. I’m obsessed. If I see one I say a silent prayer that the offering will come in my size and I immediately go in for the kill.
So of course it’s a no brainer that the dress you see before you would be a must for my closet. This is a shirt dress from Marks & Spencer and it is the perfect dress to transcend the seasons. It’s dark- perfect for winter- yet features florals -perfect for Spring. It can be worn bare legged with sandals or with knee high boots. Should the weather really turn it can even be worn with tights. Easy peasy, people. Oh, did I mention it’s under a nifty fifty too? My work here is done. Go forth and outfit yourselves!
