Time for me to just come out and admit that I’ve never bought anything from Oliver Bonas. Shock horror. What else have I missed? This stuff is so good!!!! Honestly, I was floored by just how good it was. I’ve seen people talk about it all over the internet and I’ve never shopped the brand myself, and for that I’m sorry. I feel like I’ve let you and myself down. So, I’m making up for lost time and I’m kicking it off by trying on five new spring summer 2020 dresses from the brand. Some of them are now in sale! So keep an eye out! All are worth a try and all are great value for money. So, let’s get stuck in….
A few notes. First of all, there are affiliate links herewith. Secondly, every dress I’m wearing is a size 18. So when I talk about sizing up, down or staying firm with the size, that’s what we’re dealing with. Sadly, the brand stops at 18. Oliver Bonas… would be great to see you include even more sizes! But for now, let’s explore what they’ve got going on! Oh wait, also need to mention I’m over 6 feet tall, so let that guide you on length!

I’m starting with my favourite. It was, hands down, this one. How gorgeous and summery is this dress? It’s lightweight, has a perfectly placed empire waist and the most flattering a-line skirt. It will be a maxi on most and trust me when I say it’s a beautiful length whether you are wearing as a maxi or a long midi. Cannot say enough positive things about this summer beauty! Order True to size.

This was a close second favourite. Again, a very flattering cut and you guys know how I love a v-neck. It is so darn flattering and beautifully feminine. The print is loud, but not intimidating. And this dress can be worn with everything from flash sandals to an old pair of trainers. This is definitely a “throw on and look fabulous” dress. Runs true to size.
Patched Floral Print Wrap Dress
Was £75, now on sale for £25
Sizes 6-18
Another beauty. I just can’t stop. There are so many good dresses on site! This one is a winner, for sure. It’s a beautiful wrap, but not that terrible fabric that clings to every lump and bump. It’s what I call a “wrap grazer.” It flows, rather than sticking. It’s lightweight, fits perfectly to size and will keep you cool in the steamy heat! Cool….and looking stylish as heck!

I found this ran a little bit small, but I’m going to use my boob trick to keep the buttons closed. It’s a gorgeous dress and one that definitely will make you stand out in the crowd as a woman that loves colour. I did find that the belt drove me a bit mad as it either went up or down but never managed to stay in place. So, I would actually ditch the belt entirely and just wear as a beltless beauty.

Last, but not least, the dress style of the season. Just picture yourself running through a big field of wild flowers in this beautiful piece. It’s a lovely heavier fabric that is breathable! So it’s feels a lot more luxurious than a lot of it’s rival brands. It’s also the most gorgeous soft pink colour. Fits a little large actually. You could easily size down one or two sizes if your size isn’t available and you’d be fine!
